The Best Batman Movie Ever! Yes, There Is A Best.

Throughout the years, there has been an array of variation of the movies about the masked crusader, Batman. The legacy of the Batman is marked with different images that have all become iconic. Preliminary sketches of Batman were extremely unpolished; even incomplete. Eventually; after several modifications by Bob Kane, the totality of his persona was formed. The Batman first appeared on the #27 issue of Detective Comics in May of 1939. His debut in this six-page story entitled: "The Chemical Syndicate" caught widespread attention. It was here; and in succeeding stories, that revealed Batman's ingenious wit and charm, as he solved murder mysteries across the dark streets of Gotham City and fought tirelessly to avenge the death of his parents. His adventures were always strewn with awe-inspiring scenes of dramatic verbiage and suspense-filled confrontations against notorious villains such as the Riddler, Two-Face, and the Joker.

The Original Batman

Many would agree that the best batman movie would have to be the one that best reflects the original identity, demeanour, and personality of Batman. It should necessarily represent the fullness of the character as initially perceived. Bearing this in mind, there have been countless re-makes of the Batman and his heart-breaking story. It is invariably difficult to conceive of an alternate story that could be attributed Batman. In fact, some fail to give justice to many of his traits. It would presumably be tactless to misrepresent such an iconic figure whose image has already been distinctly defined. With the incalculable attempts to represent this caped crusader in his full glory through the television series and movies, few have truly captured the essence of his person.

The Best Batman Movie

It could be said that the best movie that came closest to representing the Batman is the first one. This is true in most cases where movies have had a part two or part three. The original, generally speaking, is usually the best. The first Batman movie was shown in 1966, starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward, who played Robin. However, the cinematic version of the movie; which initially did not include Robin, exceeded expectations and inspired a sequel. While Christian Bale and George Clooney are exceptional actors in their own right, Michael Keaton represented a strong Batman.

Director Tim Burton included an all-star cast; alongside Batman, with Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl, and Jack Nicholson. Perhaps, it was the addition of these artists which brought to light the full character that have inspired the world as the Batman. The exciting movie was packed with action, romance, and drama. It captured the story of Batman, as was originally conceptualized. Thus, this made for an excellent movie, in the end.

Holy Crack-Pipe Batman!

Despite the many faces of Batman, the masked crusader has never been more loved by audiences around the world. Both the young and the old; alike, have grown fond of this avenger in disguise, even relating to his story. With their Batman T Shirt, they feel almost as if they can some day become the next superhero. However the Bat is perceived, he will always be memorable to all in his splendour and grace.
